"I would love to but I just don't have the time!"

I would love to take that course/visit a friend/take a break but I just don’t have the time!
Does that sound familiar? What if you never had to say those words again?
Time and Money seem to be the two biggest obstacles for most people when it comes to doing what makes them happy. People often don’t have time to do the things they want to do and they don’t have the time to fix that, it’s the duality treadmill so many of us are stuck on.
I won’t go into the concept of time as energy & stretching time in this post because although interesting right now it isn’t going to help you with the lack of time. Right now we need to free up some space in your life for you.
So we work smarter, we cut down on wasted time which to be fair is the cause of a lot of time issues and we make our time more productive. If we can achieve more in a shorter amount of time that leaves us time to do what makes us happy.
Here are 5 things that will help you be instantly more productive:
1. Make Lists
I started a 101 different jobs, never completing any of then until I discovered the power & joy of a list.
2. Set Intentions & make a commitment
When I write a to do list for the day I have every intention of smashing the lot. I prep the night before so I am clearish on my goals the next day, stating that this is what I am going to achieve.
3. Focus on Goals not hours in the day
I don’t worry about the time because I know when I am focused I can achieve more in 2 hours than a day of unfocused toiling.
4. Get rid of distractions
No the cupboards do not need cleaning right now if they are not on your list, no your friend doesn’t need to talk to you quickly and no you don’t need to pop out to the shop. Turn of your phone etc
5. Be more consciously aware of when you are distracting yourself
Get to know your ego tricks, distractions & justifications , their only purpose is to maintain the status quo.
